FAQs

(1) Can I use this cable with my CPAP machine during travel?

Yes. Using the DC Output Cable, your compatible CPAP machine can run directly from the Medistrom™ Pilot battery, making it ideal for travel, camping or situations where a wall power source is not available.

(2) Will the battery automatically power my CPAP during a power outage?

Yes. In Backup Mode, if the main electricity supply fails, the Medistrom™ Pilot battery automatically powers your CPAP machine through the DC Output Cable, ensuring uninterrupted therapy.

(3) Which CPAP machines are compatible with this cable kit?

Compatibility varies depending on the cable model. Please refer to the Compatibility Section for supported CPAP devices.

(4) Do I need both cables to use the battery?

It depends on your CPAP setup and the mode you want to use:

  • Travel Mode: Only the DC Output Cable is required to power your CPAP directly from the Medistrom™ Pilot battery.
  • Backup Mode / Charging Mode: The Short Charging Adapter is needed to connect the AC power to the battery, which then supplies power to the CPAP through the DC Output Cable.
